It is a really fun thing to get in the mail! Plus, I am a product junkie and love being able to try all these different products. Check out the website for more information!
This month's theme is: Red Carpet Ready.
Products Included:
1. Color Club Nail Polish in Wild Cactus - A great polish from Color Club. In the bottle it looks like a teal green color, but on the nails it is a very pretty shade of emerald green. Very gorgeous and very on trend.
2. Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips - This is a thick balm originally formulated for nursing moms. (Think the thickness of Vaseline.) It doesn't have a scent or taste. I love it as a lip gloss/moisturizer because it really hydrates the lips. Mine were very chapped from the cold weather, but after one wear of this, they were smooth and hydrated. It is a very thick, tacky formula though, so I would hate to be a mom that has to put it on my nips. You wouldn't really want to wear clothes while it was on because it is thick and sticky and greasy. It would leave spots on your bra or shirt.
3. Skin & Co. Roma Cleansing Body Gel with Olive and Sicilian Orange Extracts - This is basically a body wash, although it comes in a clear, light gel formula. It feels nice and smooth on the skin and has a light orange scent.
4. Twistband Thick Headband - I use the small Twistband hair ties at home every day. I like them a lot. This headband is not very secure though. It easily slips off my head. Either my head is too big (most likely) or the headband is too big.
Extras
Ghirardelli Caramel Chocolate Square - A typical square of Ghirardelli chocolate with a creamy caramel filling. Yum!
I love that green is trendy again....it makes my ginger-haired May-baby heart go pitter patter. I never buy nail polish, though...I always go get my nails done, because (a) they don't grow right and they look bad unless they have tips on them and (b) I really suck at applying nail polish. I love this new gel polish stuff. I got my toes done like 3 months ago and the polish is still on them without a single chip. I even trimmed them and it didn't ruin it. It stays shiny on your nails, too.
ReplyDeleteI am very happy with the emerald green trend too. It also makes my May-baby heart happy. I am going to have to stock up on the cute stuff since you otherwise hardly find emerald green stuff.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used the gel polish. My toes always stay looking nice until I change my polish, but no matter what top coats and such I use on my fingernails, they always chip within hours. So very annoying. I have SO MANY nail polishes and hardly use them because they constantly chip. :-/
Have you tried those little nail stickers? They can't really chip... look for them on the clearance endcaps at Target. They're too expensive if you pay full price, but they mark them down to like $2 and that might be worth a shot. Sephora and Ulta sometimes have them that cheap also.
ReplyDeleteI have a few packages of the nail stickers but haven't tried them yet. They are all crazy patterns so I just haven't had the right opportunity to wear them. Will definitely have to try them because I also don't have to wait for them to dry!
