Q & A Monday: Summertime

Happy Monday, everyone!  I'm sad the weekend is over.  We had a great dinner with friends on Saturday night and played Cards Against Humanity.  It was so much fun drinking wine and laughing with friends.  On Sunday, Mr. Diva had to make some important phone calls.  Then we called it a day and played Skyrim for a while.  It was too warm out for us to enjoy the sunshine. I hope all of you had fun weekends.

It is time again for Friend Makin' Monday.  If you have a blog, I would like to invite you to answer the questions as well.  Leave me a comment here, so I know you are playing.  Then you can also leave a comment over at All The Weigh, so other folks can check out your answers as well.  It is a fun way to connect to other bloggers.

 Summertime

1. What is your favorite thing about Summer?
We actually have sun here and there.  Plus, I enjoy some of the summer time outdoor activities we can't do the rest of the year because it is always raining. lol

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
I'm not an outdoorsy girl.  My favorite summer outdoor activities are grilling and hanging out with friends, going for drives to look at the scenery, and laying outside with Mr. Diva looking for satellites.

3. If you had to choose, would you prefer to be too hot or too cold?
I would MUCH rather be too cold.  I can always put a blanket on or more clothes.  When I am too hot, I am so cranky and uncomfortable and feel claustrophobic.

4. Does your appetite increase or decrease during warmer months? Does it stay the same?
I don't think it changes too much, but I do get a bigger hankering for all things fruit and cold salads.  Plus, I don't want to cook too much, especially on the days it is too hot.

5. What is your favorite seasonal Summer fruit?
Right now, I miss watermelon.  I need to go buy some.  We've been obsessed with strawberries and grapes lately.

6. Would you prefer to spend a hot summer day at the mall or at a swimming pool?
Neither.  I'd want to go to the movies or just stay in my air-conditioned home, spending time with Mr. Diva and the furkids.

7. Are you more likely to tan or sunburn?
I tanned really great as a kid.  I'm not sure how my skin would react nowadays because I don't go out in the sun without strong SPF and shade.  I'd probably burn. lol

8. How does your routine change when Summer begins?
Doesn't really change, I guess.  Maybe I try to get up earlier to enjoy more day time and get more things done before it gets super warm.

9. What is the temperature outside where you are today?
I think it was 90 today.

10.  What is your favorite Summer holiday?
How many summer holidays are there? lol  I used to enjoy Independence Day, but not anymore really.  The fireworks stress my dogs out so much and frankly, I don't trust all these imbeciles shooting fiery projectiles in the street.  I don't like that people spend so much money to set things on fire and shoot them off for a week straight instead of ONLY on the holiday.  There were still dummies shooting off fireworks at 1 AM this morning.  Peh!

  2. I am definitely not outdoorsy when it's over 100 degrees outside. I am ready for fall!!!

  3. We have morons in our neighborhood that will let just a couple fireworks off each evening - most of the time before it's even dark! Why bother? But at least they're not going all night - my Beagle doesn't like them, either.
Stopping in from FMM - hi!

  4. Hi there! Stopping by from FMM. Nice to meet a fellow skyrim-player (you know, apart from the obvious boys playing). :)

  5. I'm with you. Not really down with all the fireworks. We haven't had rain since early June. Good idea, give a bunch of drunks some fireworks. Let's see if we can burn the town down,

  7. Welcome! Awesome that you are a fellow Skyrim player! At the moment, I am a level 28 Wood Elf Archer. lol I have talked about how much I love it so much, my husband bought the game for his 360 so we can still be in the same room and spend time together while we play. :-) He chose to be Khaajit.

  8. Oh my gosh! I know, right?? When they do them before dark! What is the freaking point!?!?! Poor Beagle. My two oldest (chihuahuas) weren't too upset because they can't hear well, but my youngest was spazzing so much. I'm going to need to medicate him next year.

  12. Oh gosh! I would be SO CRANKY in that weather. I lived in the South until I was 17 and I've visited Phoenix twice. That was enough. lol

  13. I haven't played in a while, but I am level 52 and forgot which race I picked. Something human-looking. I am on vacation now, so I definitely will play a little more. I am playing on the PC, we don't have any other thingy. My boyfriend is the gamer, and this was the first game that actually looked appealing enough for me to want to try it out.
