Q & A Monday: Quick Questions

This weekend was really busy.  The in-laws have friends in town from Wisconsin whom we had dinner with, plus my father-in-law is still in the hospital.  We did some visiting, ran some errands, took the furkids to the vet, saw Ted, among all the other household chores and every day things.

Today, I am being productive.  I still have a million tabs open on Chrome of articles I need to read, but I'm getting things done.  That is what counts, right?

Q & A Monday consists of some random, quick (but fun) questions.  I hope you enjoy!

If you have a blog, I would like to invite you to answer the questions as well.  Leave me a comment here, so I know you are playing.  Then you can also leave a comment over at All The Weigh, so other folks can check out your answers as well.  It is a fun way to connect to other bloggers.

FMM: Quick Questions

1. What are your plans for Independence Day?
Well, the aforementioned friends of the in-laws are in town and the father-in-law may be going home from the hospital today.  We have yet to make possible plans with them for the 4th, but we have been invited to two other festive get-togethers.  I am hoping we can do it all!

2. What is the last interesting thing you drank?
I haven't had anything really interesting to drink lately.  In the last week I've had water, wine, iced tea, or juice.

3. Share one of your favorite quotes.
"Always be proud of yourself and understand that it's your individuality that makes you beautiful." - Mark Feehily

4. Name someone or something that makes you smile.
Without fail, Mr. Diva always makes me smile.  He's my sunshine.

5. What will you/did you eat for lunch today?
Today, I broke out the Black Bean Chipotle veggie burgers, topped with Swiss cheese, hummus, tomato slices, and avocado.  Steamed Healthy Choice Zucchini and Peppers was our side.

6. What’s the last movie that you watched and enjoyed?
We saw Ted yesterday.  It seemed a little long, but had some pretty funny parts.  Seeing Mark Wahlberg afraid of poop was pretty fantastic.

7. Share something sweet and unexpected that someone did for you recently.
Some new friends of ours invited us to dinner at their house.  The food was so tasty!  We hung out and played a card game until the wee hours of the morning.

8. If you could spend ten days on vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Hawaii or Ireland.  Maybe Hawaii at the moment because I want some beach time.

9. What are you currently reading?
I haven't had a whole lot of reading time lately. I need to work on scheduling my time better, but I have Let's Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson (The Bloggess) on my nightstand.

10. Share at least one thing that you’re looking forward to this week.
I'm really looking forward to seeing a lot of my friends and adoptive family members.  Even if I don't see them on the 4th, I get to see some on Saturday.

Now, have a go!  Don't forget to link up here and on All The Weigh.  Happy Monday!

  1. You are going to need a vacation after the 4th by the sounds of things. I did the Q&A as well today, my first :)
