Q & A Monday: Seven

Happy Monday, everyone!  It has been a busy weekend with Mr. Diva's relatives visiting from out-of-state.  We've had fun chatting and catching up the last few days.  Their reason for visiting is a bit heavy, so I won't touch on that yet.  They will be in town until Tuesday, so we still have a couple of days of hanging out with them.

It is time again for Friend Makin' Monday.  If you have a blog, I would like to invite you to answer the questions as well.  Leave me a comment here, so I know you are playing.  Then you can also leave a comment over at All The Weigh, so other folks can check out your answers as well.  It is a fun way to connect to other bloggers.

1. What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
Cuddled up in bed or on the couch with my husband and furkids.  I love lazy Sundays when we stay in our pajamas all day and watch DVRed shows or movies, play video games, read, and just veg out.  It is perfection.

2. What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is fuchsia pink with sparkles. If I was a crayon, I would have to be one of the ones with glitter in it.  :-)  Purples and teals come in second. This is a perfect example of my favorite color:

3. Have you ever been to Europe?
I have not.  I really look forward to it though.  Mr. Diva and I long to plan a trip to Ireland, Scotland, and England.  We'd also love to travel to Italy, Greece, and Germany.

4. Do you wear glasses or contacts?
I own glasses, but I don't wear them often.  I mainly need them to see distances, so they aren't something I always need.  I mainly pull them out at the movie theater or for long hours of gaming.  I still can't bring myself to try contacts.

5. How often do you brush your teeth?
Twice a day - morning and evening.  During the day, I will sometimes rinse with mouthwash.  I am proud to say I have NEVER had a cavity in my life. :-D

6. Share a guilty pleasure.
I generally don't feel guilty about anything that makes me happy.  I LOVE boybands.  My top three are NKOTB, BSB, and Westlife.  I don't feel guilty for that at all.  I've spent 24 years listening to people give me shit about my undying, unwavering love of NKOTB, so nothing anyone says really phases me anymore.  I don't care.  They make me happy.
I have spent a few afternoons playing Skyrim for hours.  I suppose I feel guilty about that because my living room is still dusty. lol

7. What are you most proud of accomplishing this week?
I had a decent week of blogging and managed to get all the food made for Saturday's BBQ in less than 4 hours. And I only cried twice this week.  I think I am coming out of my most recent depression. YAY!

Now snap to it, folks!  Blog your answers or feel free to answer them here in the comments.  I look forward to learning more about you.

  1. I think it's great that you are open and honest about your love for NKOTB. If something makes us genuinely happy, we shouldn't be ashamed of it. And I totally forgot about Ireland when answering the questions. I definitely want to add it to my list. Have a great day!

  2. Best advice for visiting London, England: comfortable shoes! I'm not talking about "kind of" comfy and you can get by with some walking, I'm talking super comfy made for walking and you can be on your feet all day level comfort. Even if you take the tube everywhere, odds are you are still going to do a lot of walking, my feet killed the last time we were there.

  3. Came by from FMM. I love NKOTB too, and always have... I don't remember the glitter crayons -- maybe they didn't have them when I was little, but I think I would have loved them!

  5. OMG! I NEED those shoes! *swoon*

Good for you recovering from a depression. I know how it can be, an coming out of it is the best thing on Earth sometimes. :)

  6. lol Well, I guess I only feel guilty when I remember that I need to dust and vacuum. While I'm playing, I'm focused on the archery and looting at hand.

  7. Aren't the shoes amazing?!?! Even though they are wedges, I think they are still pretty high for me. Don't wanna break an ankle! But a girl can dream :-)

  8. Always awesome to welcome a fellow Blockhead to the blog!! :-) Thanks for stopping by. I can't remember how old I was when the glitter crayons came out, but it was probably late 80s/early 90s. I love anything that sparkles!

  10. I seriously cannot wait to go to Ireland. I've been waiting so long to go there. Hubby and I were thinking about it for a big anniversary or even a big reward when we lose the weight we need to lose. We shall see. :-)
