It is still pretty warm here.  Ideally, it won't start raining until some time next month (because once it starts, it won't stop until May or June).  I'm going to keep the summer outfit posts coming until I can start dressing in more fall-like ensembles!


At the beginning of summer, I tried on this striped maxi and loved it so much I bought both colors.  They have been great for mixing and matching with other colors in my wardrobe and having something fun and easy to throw on for a day. Comfort, staying cool, and looking cute are my ideal priorities to hit.


The black and tan one seemed a little more dressy to me. I don't know why.  I added the belt and really like the way it breaks up the stripes a bit more.  I think defining my waist that way gives it a little more shape.
