This is the first item from Sejour that I have tried. This cardigan is a 3X. I usually size down when trying on or purchasing cardigans because they tend to stretch out a bit as you wear them. This is an "open front" cardigan, so there are no buttons. The material was not super soft, but not too scratchy either. I feel that is important to note because the silver threads are the sparkly kind that tend to be really itchy.
I enjoyed that the sleeves weren't full, but longer than 3/4 length. The length of the cardigan was way longer than I realized, but I actually really liked it that way. Overall, the fit was great; it is a cozy sweater; and I like the front pockets.
I kept the look casual for errand-running with jeggings, tall boots, and a simple black t-shirt. What do you think?

Cute as always...it's already too hot here for a heavy cardigan. (Although they say it's going to be chilly later in the week, and the weather is supposed to be birthday-perfect.) Are those jeggings actually fitted all the way down to the ankle? And do they stay tucked in when you're out running around? For reference, I tried on those french terry "jeggings" from LB, and they are baggy in the calf & ankle. I really wanted the tie-dye pair on clearance, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, lady! It is going to start getting hot for at least a week and a half here starting Thursday. I think my heavier cardigan days are behind me. I am hoping for birthday perfect weather. We are having friends over for a BBQ and karaoke/Cards Against Humanity/ Rock Band, etc.
ReplyDeleteI saw some tie-dye capris at LB when I was in there on Saturday. They were cute, but I didn't try them on. I was trying to stay focused on the list of things I was looking for. lol
These jeggings are fitted all the way down. It takes me a few minutes to shimmy into them. They are tight. I bought a 26 even though they were VERY tight, thinking they would stretch a lot (because that is what most jeans do). I have worn these about 3 times and they haven't stretched yet. I probably should have gotten the 28 so I can breathe better in them. lol They also seem to stay well tucked in when I am out and about. I haven't had any "baggy knee" issues with wearing them with boots. I will get a couple pictures of me in them without the boots so you can see the fit of the legs.
PS - These jeggings are on sale on Torrid right now. I'll shimmy into them today and get some photos for you.
