Sean and I haven't been on a proper date in months and months. I am not even sure when we last went on an actual date because we moved into our house at the end of July, spent a lot of time unpacking and organizing, prepared for our housewarming party, and then I found out I had cancer. The last few months have been focused on the dumb Throat Monster and not much else. So finally, we took ourselves out on a fun date!
We had sushi and went to the wonderful Helium Comedy Club to see Tracy Morgan do stand-up. We drank some tasty alcoholic coffee drinks and came home and made out. It was such a fun night that we thoroughly enjoyed!
I wanted to be sexy and sassy, so a few days before the date I put this outfit together. I love my jeans and boots combo because they are practical and comfortable and make me feel confident. It had been a while since I wore my leopard jacket, so that was a no-brainer. My shirts all fit a bit bigger these days, so I wanted something that was easily belted just in case. Believe it or not, this was the first time wearing this cami I bought from SWAK. This is a 4X and this style runs big because of the way it is cut. At this point, I might size down to a 2X.
I LOVE the way this top flows though. It is so pretty and feminine and comfortable. I need more colors because this top has become a new obsession of mine. I do wish the straps were adjustable because they are quite long on me and I had to safety pin them to my bra, but that is really my only complaint. Belting it made this cute peplum-like look that I adore. I felt super beautiful and sexy without any fussiness, which is always awesome.
