Foxcroft Holiday Checklist + Giveaway!

Foxcroft Holiday Checklist, featuring Square Dot Women's Cardigan + Giveaway - DivineMrsDiva.com

The weather has finally turned cold and rainy here and the holiday season is fast approaching!  Soon there will be family gatherings, dates with friends, dinners, work parties, and so much more to attend.  Of course we all want to look amazing at every function!

I was so excited when Foxcroft reached out to me recently about reviewing some of the pieces from their current collection.  They just launched a Holiday Checklist to keep your wardrobe ready for all the fun in the upcoming season.  The list includes classic and versatile pieces like a white button-down, denim, plaid, sweaters, and bold prints.

Each collection is "...inspired by signature prints, vibrant colors, and feminine shapes that celebrate a timeless sense of style."  I really feel that all the pieces they offer are clean and simple, but keep you looking polished in a variety of looks.  Timeless doesn't mean boring.  Foxcroft has some exciting prints in fantastic colors that lend a playfulness to their pieces.  Truly, I am so excited to share these ensembles with you that I had to do multiple outfits with both items!  Today I will show you this amazing sweater styled three ways (work, date, and casual), but come back tomorrow for three additional looks with a colorful plaid button-down!

This Square Dot cardigan is so well-made.  The material is thick and sturdy, yet soft and comfortable.  The colorful dots make me so happy!  It reminds me of confetti, which is kind of perfect for celebrating the holidays.  Obviously, this can go with so many colors, which makes it extra versatile in my opinion.  Foxcroft pieces are definitely not cheap, but the quality is amazing.  These pieces will last a long time and, because of their classic nature, will never go out of style.

Here, I am wearing the sweater over an equally colorful tank and pencil skirt.  I LOVE colorful outfits (as if you didn't know), but felt the black pieces anchored the bright colors and gave the whole look a more sophisticated feel.  The studded features in the belt mimic the square shapes in the sweater, which I thought was a fun detail.  I am wearing this swearer in a 3X.  The hips are a bit snug, but stretch to enable buttoning.  I chose to just button the middle buttons for the looks I wanted. The sweater held its shape very well.  The rest of the sweater fit like a glove, and while it was form fitting the material is thick enough that it seemingly smooths the areas I would normally need Spanx for.  Like HELLO, my butt looks crazy awesome with the sweater accentuating my curves.

For a date night, I amped up my amazing Eliza Parker dress with the sweater and a colorful turquoise necklace.  I added the thicker belt because of the volume of the skirt, but the skinny belt would look just as great.  The cardigan also features cute button details on the cuff.  It just adds a little something extra.

Lastly, I paired the sweater with a royal blue tank and yellow/orange statement necklace to bring out some different colors.  Distressed jeans keep it casual for shopping or hanging out with friends, while the sequin flats add sparkle and fun.  I would definitely wear this to a game night or even Friendsgiving, which is fast approaching!

  2. I do wish they went to a 4x...but cardigans are forgiving, and that one is awfully cute. I really wish I owned that Eliza Parker dress, but I still have to buy plane tickets for the holiday (plus presents)... Maybe one day they will have a sale, because in both posts where you've worn it, I've loved it. That COLOR. I think my favorite look with this cardigan, though, is the jeans...I like the blue and orange. (However, #1 is pretty similar to my work wardrobe, except that I probably wouldn't wear a belt because I end up fucking with them all day, and my #1 wardrobe rule is "I want to put my clothes on and NOT THINK ABOUT THEM ALL DAY.")

  3. Right!?! The color is awesome! I really lucked out with the Eliza Parker dress because I loved it as soon as I saw Rebecca (The Plus Side of Me) in it. I just happened to be online at the right time when she sold it. I couldn't pass it up. The full skirt is so wonderful. I cannot get enough. Actually, now I might take that dress to Vegas with me....I love it too much and it doesn't really need to be ironed at all.

Belts can definitely be tricky that way. I have some that stay put and some that move around. When I know I am going to be sitting and standing a lot, I nix the belt for sure. I don't like constantly readjusting.
