Foxcroft Collection just launched a Holiday Checklist to keep your wardrobe ready for all the fun in the upcoming season. The list includes classic and versatile pieces like a white button-down, denim, plaid, sweaters, and bold prints. I am so excited about these Foxcroft pieces and bring you three more looks today with this fantastic plaid shirt!
In honor of the Holiday Checklist and the holiday season upon us, I created three looks with celebratory, seasonal events in mind. First up is a laid back look for Thanksgiving dinner:
Not only are the colors of this button-down vibrant and fun, but the fit is really great. I have the hardest time finding a button-down top that fits me well because of my larger hips and smaller bust. While the bust of this top may be a tad big, the hip portion really impressed me. I can button it all the way down, sit down in it, and still have room to move! The sleeves are a great length and also fit my larger upper arms comfortably. Now that I've found an amazing place to get button-down tops, the possibilities are endless! (By the way, I am wearing this in a 24.)
I went for comfort with this look. Nobody wants a tighter, restricting outfit for Thanksgiving. Stretchy jeans, cute boots that are easy to pull off or put on, this comfortable and easy-to-wear top, and a great moto vest to keep warm come together in a fun look with color and texture. I'm loving this moto vest too, y'all! I have a few looks coming up soon with it as well.

Stretch Wide Calf Boots - Avenue
I love to throw a more work-friendly look into the mix. Pencil skirts are so versatile as well. This ponte skirt is stretchy and comfortable, but adds a great opportunity to do some pattern-mixing with the plaid. I'm loving this combination so much! Some would argue I should be wearing tights in the colder months and maybe they would look better, but I tend to get a bit warm when random people turn on the heat at their house or places of business. I am rocking my very white bare legs for all the heat intolerant folks among us!
While this Foxcroft top isn't flimsy (it is extremely well-made), it is a thinner, silkier-feeling material that flows nicely and can be tucked in without adding extra bulk. You can easily pop a camisole underneath for added warmth or coverage or an extra pop of color. This particular top is their Wrinkle Free variety that does keep the wrinkles at bay very well. There are places like the inner elbow or areas that were tucked under the waistband that became wrinkled after wear, but I feel like that is to be expected. It certainly was very minimal compared to similar tops and all the wrinkles were quickly sent packing with a pass of my clothing steamer.

For a Christmas dinner look, I added some sparkle with a metallic belt and shiny necklace. The full chambray skirt and flats are easy and comfortable; but the leopard print is another opportunity to pattern-mix in a low key way.
