This month's theme is: Multifunctional.

For our multifunctional theme, I pulled out my SWAK Pretty Flutter Top.  It is a super comfortable and roomy knit top perfect for summer.  I now own this top in a soft lavender color too.  I would normally wear a 3X in SWAK pieces, but I bought this top (and the Pretty Cami) in a 2X because of all the extra fabric.

My first look comes courtesy of our recent road trip to Seattle.  I needed something comfy and breathable for the car ride, as well as something to wear to the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum and dinner once we arrived in town.  The Pretty Flutter Top is a bit of a high-low hemline.  Going with the smaller size made it just a tad short in the front (to me), so I added a black lace-trimmed cami underneath.  The flats dressed up the look a little, but also provided color (plus they are really comfortable for walking).  My turquoise sparkly scarf added color, while my rhinestone teddy bear head necklace added some extra pizazz and whimsy. (I always say, when choosing an accessory, "When it doubt, wear the rhinestone teddy head!")

The second look is more date night or a fun outing with the girls! I belted the top to accentuate my waist under the jacket.  I didn't like the look of the gold buckle showing, so I just turned the buckle around to the back.  Black shoes would be the typical go-to for this look, but I felt the pink wedges kept it ideal for summer and a bit more casual.

The shoes are Crocs (I only like cute Crocs.) so they are pretty comfortable.  I did find that the strap was a bit long.  When buckled, the shoe was still loose on my heel.  I really didn't want to return them, so I punched a couple extra buckle holes in the strap.  This helped to make them tighter and wearable.

I imagine wearing this look to the Farmer's Market or a low-key brunch.  It has a nice simplicity to it.  I paired my trusty top with a chambray skirt, nude flats, a belt, and a colorful owl necklace.  No fuss or constant fidgeting required!
