During our recent trip to Seattle, I brought along this lovely top that Kiyonna sent me. It is perfect for traveling and wearing all day long. Through a long day of walking around and sight-seeing, to a lovely dinner and drinks late in the evening, this top kept me feeling pretty darn vibrant and awesome!
This day was the most overcast and chilly day of our adventure. It was our first vacation in six years, so I had this idea of sun in my head that isn't always realistic for Seattle. For warmth, I added a bright turquoise scarf over the turquoise bubble necklace. It was easy enough to take on and off without fussing with a jacket or cardigan.
Like I said earlier, this top is fantastic. The color is such a beautiful and vibrant coral! The stretchy rayon/spandex drapes beautifully and makes for maximum comfort. I also love that the sleeves are a great medium between short and three-quarter. I like that extra coverage. While being a V-neck style like many Kiyonna tops, this one doesn't seem too low cut and provides some extra coverage. Because it drapes a little more for my non-ample bosom, I wore a nude cami underneath. However, I really didn't need to because the top stayed in place.
After our day of sight-seeing, we stopped at our hotel to freshen up before dinner. I was able to lose the scarf and trade the capris and sandals for my favorite skinny jeans and trusty Adrina Crocs.

Disclosure: I am a member of the Kiyonna Blogger Brigade and they provided me with the top in this post. All opinions on the item are my own.
I have a turquoise maxi dress that is comfy and lightweight. It packs well because it is a jersey knit material. I wear a shrug sometimes with it.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit! I'm new to the blog but I must say I love your style!
I love the coral with the turquoise...I think the scarf is my favorite accent with the top, but I know it's probably not the most practical accessory for summer.
ReplyDeleteOh, and FYI, they have a ton of similar necklaces at Walmart for $5 each, in pretty much all the colors. They're probably not as nice as the Avenue ones, but if you need something in a particular color that you don't have, it might not be a bad option.
Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh they do?? I need to go check then. I was making a shopping list for Sunday errands. I do have a lot of colors of that necklace, but I can always have more! :-) Thanks for the tip!
