The next project in my Bedroom Makeover is making forest-inspired candles out of the plain flameless candles I already had. I love using items I already own in different ways, or changing them in some way to personalize them or make them work for me.

I tend to collect twigs and cool things from the forest anyway, so I went to my stash of branches at hand and broke them into rough sections before I started gluing them on. Of course, hot glue didn't stick to the waxy, textured exterior of the flameless candle, so I had to cover it with butcher paper first.
A ton of hot glue, a clearance bag of glitter moss I picked up over the holidays last year, an embossing tool to help smoosh the moss, some multi-chrome glitter paint, and some new ferns from Michaels, and TADA!!
I made two of these and I just LOVE the way they turned out! I think they bring the enchanted forest feeling to life. ✨🌲✨
More to come!!
