We only spent two nights in Seattle this time, one of which was spent going to see Joe McIntyre.  Once we arrived in town the first night, we picked up Thai take-out and watched a storm roll past. And on our last morning, we strolled through the Seattle Art Museum before heading home.

Come along on the ride!

We stayed at the Harbor Steps Apartments in Downtown Seattle.  It was a great location with plenty of things to see and food options close by.  There is also a Target within walking distance should you need any supplies. It has been really lovely not staying in hotels in our recent travels.  I love having the convenience of a kitchen and more generous space for my too many bags. lol

I was inspired by this art in the apartment.  I'm hoping to paint my own version of it soon.

A Country Home by Frederic Edwin Church
This was my absolute favorite piece at the museum.  I stood and stared at it for as long as I could.  Then I went back and stared at it some more and took a photo.

I didn't get the name of the other piece, but I was too chicken to scream in a museum.  We heard some people screaming later on and it was alarming.
