Well, here we are.  I'm choosing to aggressively seek joy to keep my mental health as balanced as possible.  I can't help anyone if I'm not taking care of myself.  And in the name of joy...

I'm back with another piece from Her Universe, from their Holiday Rewind collection, a grouping of fanciful frocks in classic silhouettes.  I was sent the Beauty and the Beast Rose Glitter Dress and loved getting glam for the first time in a while!

Her Universe seems to always be improving on the quality and fit of their items.  The Beauty and the Beast Rose Glitter Dress is well-made, with structure and weight to it.  The bodice is made of a ponte knit fabric that is comfortable and wears well, though there is only a little stretch to it, while the skirt fabric is thicker cotton with minimal stretch as well.  There is a back zipper and a snap at the crossover neckline to keep the fabric in place.  I didn't have any issues with gapping and everything laid well on my body, though I do wish the crossover was placed lower to avoid the seam cutting across my boob.  It looks a little awkwardly placed to me, as a personal preference.

The tulle portion of the skirt is glittery and beautiful without shedding glitter everywhere you go.   Pink fabric roses adorn the below-the-knee hemline and feature gold scrolling embroidery shaped into the cloche that holds the enchanted rose.

I'm wearing a size 20 and find it fits true to size.  Did I mention there are also pockets??  I paired the dress with gold heels, a rose gold fur scarf, and chandelier earrings for an extra touch of sparkle and texture.
