Today's post is the third and final installment from our barely pre-Quarantine trip to Seattle and Long Beach. On our way back home, we drove up to Olympic National Park for a quiet hike and picture-taking, which we absolutely love to do! I've been wanting to visit the park for a long while, but it's a bit too remote for a simple day trip. Sean found an area that would give us a scenic drive and hiking opportunities within our limited timeframe. The Staircase Area was quite beautiful and a lovely respite from our time in the city, as we contemplated what life was going to be like with the impending lockdown.
This is another photo diary-type layout. I didn't have the heart to collage any of these photos because the forest is so beautiful, so it is quite photo-heavy. I'm also really excited to share more of my "texture photos" with you, which are some of my favorites to take! Enjoy!
This tree is a Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata) with a diameter of 14 feet.
I'm so obsessed with trees. I'm just always excited to take photos of them.
The water is SO CLEAR!!
And the rocks were actually this purple!
Have you been to Olympic National Park? What areas are your favorites?
