In our second-to-last Torrid Outlander Collection review, I am going over the more casual hoodie options from the collection. I am a casual girl, so both of these pieces drew me in for their practicality and seamless integration into my wardrobe.

Before we get started, I am 5'9", typically wear a 22/24, wear a 40B bra, a size 11 wide shoe, and my measurements are 52/49/58.
The Green Thistle Print Lace-Up Hoodie is a stretchy, soft, knit hoodie with a gorgeous dark green color. It's really hard for me to not fall back on the ease and practical nature of a hoodie, especially in the Pacific Northwest rain. I LOVE when a hoodie has great features and style elements to make it something more special and fun. The lacing at the neckline is such a great touch! The front kangaroo pocket features a metallic gold Outlander emblem, but what really had me excited was the shining metallic gold thistle print down the sleeves! You know I don't so "no" to shiny!
I did size up to a 4 (from my usual 3) and am very happy I did. The fit is still fitted enough that it isn't sloppy, but I have some wiggle room. I know the 3 would have been clinging to my tummy roll too much for my liking. Unfortunately, this item is sold out, but check eBay and Poshmark regularly if you really want one.

Next up, we have the Grey Cable Knit Zip Hoodie! Torrid released a lighter grey version of this same style first, and I almost bought it. I loved the look of it and it seemed like a great addition to my sweater wardrobe. But then the Outlander Collection came out and I much preferred this darker grey color. The cable knit is soft and stretchy, with a kangaroo pocket, decent sized hood and zipper closure. I love the look and texture of this cardigan! I feel like it isn't too bulky, though I did buy mine to be oversized. I sized up to a 4 again because most of the sweaters and hoodies and coats can be a bit more fitted on me. I debated about ordering down after I received mine, but I wanted the extra room so that I could have the option of wearing the cardigan with thicker tops if necessary. I think the oversized fit is cozy and just what I needed. Unfortunately, this hoodie is also sold out.
