Hey, dahlings!!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  I had a fabulous Easter spent with family in (what turned out to be) BEAUTIFUL weather!  I'm still a bit overwhelmed with household chores and things that need to be taken care of, so I wasn't able to get as many posts out this week.

I spent yesterday organizing my shoes (more on that later) and remembered that I needed to bring you this organizing tip.

I have had my makeup brushes in their nice zippered travel case since I received them as a gift.  I wash my brushes regularly, but the case was getting dirty too.  Also, I found it annoying to pull all of my brushes out to use them and make sure they all went back into their holding areas in the case.

I remembered that at Sephora they display the brushes in little vases with small marbles that hold them upright.  I decided to recreate this to the best of my ability at home.  It has actually saved me time in my makeup routine because my brushes are out and easily viewable and accessible.  They are also easy to put back when I finish using them.

AND it cost about $6.00!  I ventured to Wal-Mart where I found the glass bowl in the kitchen section for about $2.00.  The marbles were with the candles and cost $4.00 for the bag.  

Pour the marbles in the vase and stick your brushes in.  Easy peesy!
