What I Wore: Rainy Days and Mondays

After a week of dealing with furkid health issues, I was down and out with a migraine Friday and Saturday.  We changed our errand running day to Sunday instead.  Thankfully, it was mostly fun errands, like using my Real Women Dollars at Lane Bryant.

I am CRAVING nice weather and sunshine.  But that wasn't Sunday.  It was windy and chilly and rainy in spots.  I've had this Venus Top from Sealed With A Kiss Designs for a few months and worn it several times, always forgetting to take pictures.  It is my first purchase from SWAK.

I really like this top.  It is made of a polyester/spandex material that is smooth and flowy. The flutter sleeves are great, with little panels sewn inside so you don't have to worry about your bra showing if you lift your arms up.  The V-neck is pretty low, so I always wear a colorful tank underneath it.

Turquoise Tank - Old Navy
Straight Leg Jean - Avenue
Glitter Flats - Torrid
Necklace - Target

I ordered a 4X in this top and felt it was pretty true to size.  I may have been able to go down a size, but I always worry about how things are going to fit my hips when I try to get something that better fits my bust.  I have also ordered the Emmylou Top from SWAK in a 4X and it was way too big on me.  So pay attention to the Size Chart because it does vary by style.

I look forward to adding more SWAK Designs clothing to my wardrobe, particularly this beautiful maxi dress and scarf:
