What I Wore: Hoppin' Down The Bunny Trail......Sunday

On Easter Sunday, I woke up bright and early so I could get the carrot cake iced and decorated.  It didn't take too long, but I wanted it to look good.  I used the Carrot Cake recipe from More From Magnolia by Allysa Torey.  It turned out really tasty and moist.  I definitely recommend this recipe and book as well.

I used Swedish Fish and orange jelly beans to decorate.

It is a two-layer cake with cream cheese icing.

The Inside!

For my outfit, I chose to keep it simple and comfortable with a little bit of sparkle.

Over at the In-Laws' house, we had a tasty brunch of oven-baked French toast, sausage and egg, and fruit.  It was so good!  Later on, my mother-in-law made lattes and we ate our cake.  Then we played the Star Trek Scene It DVD game.

I know very little about Star Trek, but I did get a few questions answered correctly.  We had a good time though and some great laughs about it.

After all that, Mr. Diva and I came home, put our pajamas on, and relaxed.  I decided there was no way I was going to get my Picaboo book done before the coupon expired Monday night; So we just hung out with the furkids.  I hope everyone had a splendid holiday weekend!
