Er'body in the house been busy!

Oh my gosh!  It is SO NICE to have a lazy weekend.  Except for the fact that I should be cleaning and tidying up and showering, it is quite the lazy and relaxing weekend here.  We went to a party Friday night while one of my best friends was house-sitting for his cousin.  They have this super house with a bar which is perfect for entertaining.  It is nice they didn't mind all these people at their house.  We had a blast and didn't get home until 5 AM.  That is very rare for us old, boring, married people. lol  Yesterday, we slept our hangovers away, ate junk food, watched the movie Kick Ass, and played Lego Harry Potter on the PS3.

It has been so tough to blog since we moved.  For the first month and a half, we had fleas at our new place; Fleas that were here prior to our arrival.  It was thoroughly exhausting and frustrating.  I fully intend to write a blog about everything we went through with that.

Once the flea situation died down, I hurt my foot by accidentally dropping a very heavy frame on it.  It hurt to walk for a few days and no unpacking got done.  Then I was sick for a week or so with some kind of stomach virus.

After the stomach virus went away, I think I had about a week to unpack and organize and clean before my two grandmas arrived for a week-long visit from Mississippi.  They left on Tuesday.  The good news is that their trip forced me to at least get my craft room done.  I still have to move my work table in there, but the room looks GREAT and most everything is in its place.  I am SO excited to get started on all my projects I have lined up.

Meanwhile, about a month after our move we finally hooked up our computers and such and discovered mine had a virus.  It has made it difficult to use my desktop computer because the virus causes pop-ups and doesn't allow me to quickly save pictures and get things done.  And if I use my Netbook for too long I get a massive headache.  It is great for traveling, but not for long-term things I need to do during the day.  It is hard to multi-task on a 7 inch screen.  As I type, Mr. Diva is hard at work fixing my computer to its former glory.  Soon I shall be working from there with all my stuff in one location.  I hate feeling so chaotic.

I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Heather Drive, the other day.  She posted about a blog game with 10 topics to post to help get the writing juices flowing.  Seeing as how I haven't posted a lot of personal things on here and I have been in a blogging draught, I thought it would be fun.  I'll be working on these the next couple of weeks.

Here's the blog activity/game description:

Are you in a blogging slump? Here is a fun blogging activity to help you hit "publish post" again!
