A rare Monday post treat!

The Luring Lace Dress is offered in black and ruby red, with an empire waist, a-line shape, strappy details, and lace sleeves.  It feels sexy and saucy, glamorous and sophisticated, flirty and sweet - all at the same time.  I am wearing my usual Kiyonna size of a 3X.  I found the fit to be pretty darn fantastic.  The material is a smooth and slinky poly spandex with beautiful movement.  It hangs well and is also lightweight, which means it can transition from season to season well.  I didn't have an issue with wrinkles in this dress, so I feel that it would pack well in case you are traveling for the holidays, weddings, or vacation.  It is a great dress for a variety of events, with enough pretty detailing to require minimal accessories.

The hem of the dress hits just below the knee on my 5'9" frame.  Fully lined, the a-line skirted portion of the dress has such a nice flow to it and skims over my curves, requiring no shapewear.  I am always worried about this bust style being a bit baggy on my smaller chest. (I wear a 40B.)  This was not an issue in this dress.  The empire waist is fitted but comfortable.  The bust had a little bit of extra room with me, but did not appear baggy at all.  The material has a good amount of stretch and give, so there is room for maneuvering without feeling restricted in any way.  I am wearing a strapless nude bra with this look.


The strappy details are not tight and do not pull on the neck at all.  They do crisscross in the back, but you have two options of how they look in the front.  I wore them in more of a v-neck shape, but you can also cross them in the front for a different look.  I find the added detail of being able to change up the neckline of the dress really thoughtful and fun.  Three-quarter lace sleeves add a pretty finishing touch to the frock.  The lace has stretch and a nice amount of coverage, and  fit my larger upper arms very comfortably.  They were fitted, but not tight or restricting of movement.  The regular price of this dress is $118 but remember, it is only $40 during this exclusive sale!!

Because this dress has lovely details to show off, I kept my styling very simple.  I went with sparkly accessories in the form of a crystal headband, dangly teardrop earrings, and my new Swarovski bracelet.  These Naturalizer pumps arrived from Zulily the morning I did photos, so I had to take them out for a spin also.  I've been trying to purchase more comfortable versions of shoe styles and update my old, worn-out shoe wardrobe.  Zulily carries different brands each day, across multiple departments (not just shoes - clothing, jewelry, home decor, handbags, lots of kids things, etc.).  I've been so excited by all the quality shoe brands available in 11 Wide recently though!
