Okay....here is a pet peeve of mine that I have noticed a lot lately:
What is up with calling everything by its initials? On Little People, Big World this week they kept calling the Virgin Islands "BVI". On radio commercials I just heard 5 minutes ago, they are calling the Trans-Siberian Orchestra "TSO".
Really? Is it so much harder to just say the freaking whole name of a place? It only takes a few more seconds. It really doesn't take a lot extra out of you to call something by its name. I also feel this way about "SoCal", "FroYo", and "rom-com".
Just sayin'...

Ha ha. I've heard TSO for years though. Guess everyone is in too much of a hurry for big words. :-)
