I was back on KATU's Afternoon Live to talk about tips for organizing and transitioning your closet from summer to fall. And I didn't even have time to talk about everything!

Before we get started, I am 5'9", typically wear a 22/24, wear a 40B bra, a size 11 wide shoe, and my measurements are 52/49/58.

What I Wore:
- Off-Shoulder Top - Torrid (similar, similar)
- Wearing a 4X for a slightly oversized fit.
- Torrid seems to carry this style in different colors and designs throughout the year.
- Lace-Trim Tank - Maurices
- Wearing a 3X
- I bought 6 different colors of these lace strap tops to wear under off-the-shoulder tops. They are super soft and I really like them.
- Purple Skinny Jeans - Target (Ava & Viv)
- Wearing a 22W
- The high rise is a little too high for me, but I've been wanting some dark purple jeans and jumped at these. They are super stretchy and very soft.
- Skye Marble Necklace - Two Skies Scotland
- My necklace, made with marble from the Isle of Skye, is a souvenir I bought in Scotland. Two Skies is also online and has all kinds of gemstone, fossil, and stone pieces.
Accessories:
- Metal Bin
- I bought this metal bin at Home Goods and imagine many places have versions of something like this. If it is metal or plastic versus fabric, it is way easier to clean.
- Circle Scarf Organizer - Amazon
- A scarf holder/hanger is great for limited closet space and limited space everywhere else as well. You can even hang necklaces, belts, etc. on it too.
- I like being able to see as many of my items as possible so I get more use out of them.
- Change out lighter scarves for winter scarves later in the season.
- Use your brooches
- Utilize your brooches, pins, and scarves more by using them as a necklace or accessory to dress up a basic look.
- I find my brooches come out more in the fall and winter. Pin them to jackets, purses, and more.
- Pool Noodle
- Get pool noodles and cut them to size for boots of all heights. It helps them keep their shape whether they are in your closet or stored away.
- Plastic Shoe Box Storage
- These can be found at pretty much any store that sells containers like this. (Think Target, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, Big Lots, maybe even dollar stores.)
- I like to take pictures of my shoes and print them onto pretty paper as labels for each box.
- Keeping shoes in the shoe box helps them stay dust-free and keeps them safe and tidy.
- Fabric Storage Bin - Amazon
- Both my husband and I have these bins in our closets for various clothing categories. I even have one for costume accessories to keep things from getting too smashed.
- They are really easy to put together, with front and top zip openings and a clear window as well.
- I just used tape to label it and store it away behind my shoes in the colder months.
- Garment Rack - Amazon
- I didn't even get to cover this on the segment, but if you have space for clothing racks and storing your clothes this way it is another great option.
- There are lots of different sizes of clothing racks. If you need one that is totally covered and contained, they also have versions of that. The contained racks can go out in your garage and can keep your clothes safe from pests.
- Garmet Rack Cover - Amazon
- For the open racks, these inexpensive covers can keep your clothing dust-free but still easily accessible.
- Large Garment Bag - Amazon
- Not pictured is this large garment bag ideal for special occasion dresses or multiple items. It even has a pocket in the bottom for shoes and the like.
