We had lunch at a local rib place (and even had fried okra! I miss it so much.) Then we headed over to Bath and Body Works, DressBarn, Avenue, Ross, and Costco before heading to Michaels and Wal-Mart. I had a lits of things I needed to pick up, but I ended up with more than that. There were some excellent sales going on.
At Bath and Body, I really wanted a fragrance oil that was more fall/winter. I only have a Pecan Pie one from a few years ago. The rest I have are citrusy, summery smells. I also wanted to pick up some more Pocket Anti-bacterial gels in the new holiday scents. Here's (part of) my B&BW haul:
I went with Creamy Pumpkin because it seemed like a great mix of several other scents I wanted. It was a happy medium. I also loved Homemade Cookies, Cinnamon Stick, Creamy Nutmeg, and Spiced Cider. |
Secret Wonderland is a new scent. I really loved it. It is a really nice fruity, girly scent. The shimmer mist is SO sparkly!
I also bought some other pocket anti-bacterial gels in their Cupcake line. Those are no longer on the website. I also bought a couple glittery fabric flowers that they have as gift wrapping accessories. I am gonna make them into pins.
I could have bought ALL the lipglosses too! They were all so yummy smelling! and the new Tasty Lip Jewels are so sparkly!
When we went to Avenue, my mom found a pair of boots she loved. I was looking at some of the sale shirts. They had a lot of solid color basics that I wanted to add to my wardrobe. I chose a teal thermal tunic that was $20. I didn't think the sale price was going to be as outstanding as it was. The top was on sale for $8!! So I got purple, red, and dark magenta ones too. I think they will be great for winter.

It was a really fun day. If you are able to take advantage of some of the great deals going on this week, I highly recommend it!!
