Hello!  I hope y'all are having a happy April thus far!  I've been a bit distracted with classwork for a certification program I'm taking.  I'm not practiced in the constant writing/note-taking and bulk reading, so it has been a lot for me to juggle with my various jobs, life and obligations, and desperately needing to rest.  I can feel my depression creeping back up and I think a big part of that is feeling overwhelmed and not resting enough.

Today's post is about this bright and cheery Care Bear sweater from the new Care Bear Her Universe collection!  I was a huge Care Bear fan in my childhood!  Tenderheart Bear, Cheer Bear, and Good Luck Bear were probably my favorites, but I was told I was more like Grumpy Bear.  I put together this look inspired by the soft color palette of the cardigan and found a dreamy background of fluffy pink blossoms for my photoshoot!

This Care Bears Cloud Chunky Cardigan is just part of the bigger Care Bear-inspired collection (sizes XS to 3X and plus sizes 12 to 26) which includes denim shorts, a cropped raglan tee, short overalls, and a fuzzy hoodie and shorts for lounging.  I'm wearing the cardigan in a plus size 3 (22/24) and find it very generously sized.  It buttons just fine (and the buttons are hearts, y'all!), but the drop shoulders and sleeve length are rather large.  I know it is supposed to have that oversized, cozy look, but I think the sleeve length being extra long is really my main issue.

Still, it is incredibly cozy and warm!  I'm not usually a pastel kind of gal, but this cloud print and embroidery are so cute and make me so happy!

Inspired by the print and color combo of the cardigan, I wanted to complement the colors of the Care Bears themselves with some purple and pink to keep it light and cheery and springy!  Rhinestone slip-on sneakers, a shiny cloud necklace, pastel rhinestone earrings, and a shimmery pink-toned headband round out the look.  This was the most fun I've had getting dressed lately  (I barely leave my house anymore), and I really love how it all came together.  I felt cute, like my own sparkly Care Bear character.
