Well, I DID IT!!! These past nine months of study in the Intuitive Body Coach course have been very intense and truly life-changing. It has started me on a new path of healing and learning and helped me become a better version of myself.
I'm proud that I invested in myself. I'm proud that I chose to prioritize my needs and focus so much time into the program. It was the recalibration I needed to give myself permission to grow.
I took my exam a week ago, passed, and am now certified!! 🎉
But I'm not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to enjoying these darker months as I rest and create. As always, I look forward to sharing my adventures with you.
In today's post though, I am also celebrating the changing of the seasons with Her Universe's Not-So-Ugly sweater collection! I was sent The Lord of the Rings Shire Sweater and finally got to wear it out on a rare not-too-rainy day! Read on for my thoughts...

I'm wearing the Shire Sweater in a plus size 4. It's a little oversized and I probably could have also fit into the 3, but I like the coziness and extra room in the larger size. The sweater comes in women's sizes 0 to 21, and plus sizes 12 to 30.
I don't think the sweater is quite as cropped as it appears on the model online, but it is a little shorter than other sweaters I own in the same size. The hem hits just above the tops of my thighs. Of course, I LOVE the color palette and the cute Hobbit home and leaves graphics, but what I wasn't expecting is just how SOFT this sweater is! It is so luscious and cozy!
While not a super thick sweater, it kept me warm as I ran around town. I was kind of surprised by how cozy it was because, as you know, without my thyroid the cold affects me pretty quickly. The sleeves are a little more blouson style and a little long for me in this size, but I think they hang really nice over the cuff and don't look sloppy.
Overall, SO happy with this sweater and impressed with the quality and softness. It is definitely a great piece for any Lord of the Rings fan! I even got stopped in the craft store and complimented on it, which is always fun!
I paired the sweater with my olive skinny jeans and black boots. Initially, I thought the tone of the green jeans wasn't quite right, but the swords in the sweater graphic are just about the same color, so I think it works. I topped the look off with my Hobbit door necklace and some new dangly earrings I picked up at Target recently.
I felt as cozy and cute as I could heading outside my own Shire.
