I'm bringing you another Her Universe piece this week, a Star Wars-inspired dress from their new spring dress collection! I have really enjoyed being a Her Universe Ambassador this past year. They keep stepping it up with their styles and quality, and it has been so thrilling watching the brand grow!
Today, they've launched a spring dress collection featuring styles inspired by Marvel, Disney, and Star Wars, available only at Her Universe! I have been obsessed with Return of the Jedi since I was a very small child, so what better location to shoot this dress than my neighborhood Endor. Read on for my review...

Before we get started, I am 5'9", typically wear a 22/24, wear a 40B bra, a size 11 wide shoe, and my measurements are 52/49/58.

The Star Wars Icons Tiered Dress features a navy background with a print of pale blue and light grey stars, dashes, and logos for the Jedi Order and Rebel Alliance. The material is a nicely weighted rayon that hangs on the body so well and moves with ease. There is no inner lining, but the fabric doesn't seem to be see-through. I was backlit in a lot of these photos and not wearing a slip, so you can see for yourself.
I'm wearing a plus size 3X in this dress and find it to be true to size. The length hits right at my knee, the waist seam hits at a pleasing part of my body, and I have room in the bust without it being too tight or too loose. I love, love, love the tiered skirt of the dress, plus it has pockets with ample room! It is a pull-on style with a tie at the back of the neck.
The sleeves feature a drop-shoulder with a ruffle at the elbow. While I love the sleeve-length overall, I'm not a huge fan of drop-shoulders. That extra seam makes the sleeves a bit more fitted on my larger upper arms, though they aren't super tight or uncomfortable and don't look too tight in person. If I could change anything about the dress, I would give it a V-neckline and a regular shoulder seam.
I felt super cute, and it is such an easy dress to wear. The print is busier, so I really wanted my accessories to add to it while still letting the dress shine on its own. In thinking of my love of Endor and Ewoks, I donned a braided faux leather headband reminiscent of one of Leia's hairstyles. Dangly star earrings and rhinestone slip-on sneakers (that perfectly match the grey in the dress) play up the cosmos and add sparkle! And because there is still a chill in the air here, I added a denim jacket that becomes such a great staple in the spring.
