In this final installment about my birthday weekend on the Oregon Coast, Sean and I explore some tidepools in Pacific City and enjoy scenic locations as we travel back home to the Portland/Vancouver area. I love taking close-up "texture" photos of flora and fauna on our trips, so I'm excited to share these with you!
If you've missed my previous posts on this trip, you can check out our beach-exploring days with friends and our festive photoshoot on the beach!
This is another picture-heavy post, but I am having a lot of fun doing more photo journal type posts with my travel content. Enjoy!

Before we get started, I am 5'9", typically wear a 22/24, wear a 40B bra, a size 11 wide shoe, and my measurements are 53/52/60.
Before we headed out, I tried to do some chill boudoir-ish photos. This was the only one I liked okay. Robe - Lane Bryant Chemise - Hips & Curves |
What I Wore to explore: Tie-Dye Sweatshirt - Old Navy (I wear a 3X in this style) Benton Springs Soft Fleece Vest - Columbia (I also wear a 3X in this style) Anytime Outdoor Boot Cut Casual Pant - Columbia (I wear a 24 in this style) Women's Fresh Foam 1350 Walking Shoe (Waterproof!) - New Balance |
I LOVED seeing everything up close! |
Sean made it over all the rocks to try to get some photos of the cave and other things. I focused on the outer tidepools because the rocks looked really slippery. |
On our drive back home, we stopped at a few scenic areas to hike down to the river and take photos. |
I love seeing all the water droplets on the clover. On the left hand side of the photo, you can see the droplets clinging to a spider web. |
Of course, we had to stop to take photos of the COOS!! This is more Highland cows than we actually saw in Scotland. haha |
Thanks for checking out my birthday trip!
I'm so happy I got a chance to celebrate with friends this year.
I look forward to catching up on more fun adventures soon!
