As you are probably aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is always important to encourage awareness of issues to look out for and to encourage women to take care of their bodies. Do your regular breast exams and don't skip check-ups, as early detection is key.
Kiyonna is once again encouraging us to "Look good while doing good" by offering the Bohemian Crochet Bellini in a pretty pale pink. Through November 3, Kiyonna will donate 50% of retail sales of this pink bellini to Breast Cancer Angels. This non-profit organization in California provides groceries, gas, day-to-day items, legal service, and more, to help patients who are undergoing cancer treatments, as well as their families.

- I am a member of the Kiyonna Blogger Brigade and they gifted me the bellini in this post. All opinions on the item are 100% my own. -
Like the solid Kiyonna Sunset Stroll Bellinis I own (you can check out those posts here and here), this crocheted version fits very well. The length is longer than your average cardigan, which means I can wear some of my longer tanks with it without the tank peeking out at the hemline. My arms were snuggled without being restricted. It was just a great fit all around. I am wearing a size 3 in this bellini and chose to keep it a bit looser. If you are the same size as me and really want that extra gathered look in front, you may want to size up. The drawstrings are long, so you can cinch them in to your liking. (For reference, I typically wear a size 22/24 and my measurements are 52/50/59.)
The material is lightweight and stretchy, with an intricate diamond pattern allover. This pattern is loose enough that it adds texture and interest to a look, allowing the color of your top underneath to show through. I still felt that I had plenty of coverage and it didn't make me particularly chilly either. I'm also a big fan of the color of this top. I don't wear pastel shades often, but the color of this is a peachy pink to me, which means it goes with lots of different colors and will look good on so many skin tones.
I have styled my bellinis with jeans and boots and dresses previously, so I wanted to take this feminine number and make it laid back and casual. As you can see, it just adds a great texture, interest, and specialness to a basic capris and tank outfit. I paired it with my trusty LB denim capris, Trotters rose gold sandals, and this Torrid clearance find tank. The florals in the tank perfectly match the pink tone of the bellini. This also keeps things very girly with pink, polka dots, and florals peeking through. I wore it to my aunt's birthday party and received tons of compliments on my ensemble!
