Last weekend, I had the opportunity to enter a modeling call for a local store. I haven't done anything like that before and thought it would be a fun experience. Deciding what to wear, however, was really tough. Not only did I want something cute for this model contest, but I had a super busy day of getting my hair done, running errands, and going to Bunco, with little time in between for any kind of costume change.
In the end, I chose this look because I felt it represented me really well. The colors, pattern-mixing, and fun feminine touches play well with the boots. You've seen a summer version of this look here. Sometimes I forget to winterize my more summery dresses, so I am happy I pulled this out and gave it a go. I absolutely adore this dress and always get tons of compliments on it. While this particular one isn't online anymore, Torrid has sleeveless and three-quarter sleeve styles in various patterns on their website now. I am wearing a 4X in this one and the fit is great. The sleeves are a bit short for my liking, but I like the balance the cardigan gives the look.
I would LOVE if Torrid brought this lace hoodie cardigan back in the spring in more colors. I need some in purple, pink, turquoise, red, and coral! The cardigan is so comfortable, hangs well, and goes with a majority of things I own. I love how the lace allows for color and pattern to peek out.
I haven't had this bag on the blog yet. I bought it at Charming Charlie while I was in Las Vegas because I desperately needed a crossbody purse that was bigger than the tiny clutch I brought with me. This purse has sparkly rhinestones and a long crossbody strap. Removing the strap gives you the option of carrying it around like a clutch as well. I'm totally obsessed with Charming Charlie!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Sean is still recovering from the flu, but is back at work today and doing a lot better. I'll be busy this weekend with a work party, the Wine and Seafood fest, Wine and Canvas painting class, and Skyping with an awesome friend of mine so we can watch the Backstreet Boys movie together!
What are you up to this weekend? What outfit would you wear to a model call or what outfit do you thing best represents you?
