Sorry for the lack of posts last week. I had issues with my photo hosting site. Now it is fixed (hopefully) and I am back on track.
This outfit came about when I was trying to find a cute t-shirt that would go with this blazer. This is the first time I wore the blazer, which is made of a ponte knit material. It is stretchy and so comfortable, plus polka dots are my favorite! My graphic tees ended up being too long, so I tucked in one side of a plain black tee to make it a good length. (I received a sewing machine for Christmas, so I am going to be busy hemming shirts pretty soon.)
I really love the look of the laid-back, deconstructed weekend jean with a blazer, but these jeans just don't fit me correctly anymore. It makes me super sad because I really like them. I then opted for the tighter, dark rinse jeans; I like this look a lot better. For a pop of color, I added the statement necklace and finished it off with some flat boots.
