Q & A Monday: One or the Other

Happy Memorial Day and Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  The husband and I were both luxuriously lazy, watching DVRed shows and movies, playing video games, and just enjoying our peace and quiet.

Today's Q & A Friend Makin' Monday is pretty basic, but will still give you some insight into my personality.  If you do this on your blog, please link back to All The Weigh and leave a comment so everyone can visit you!

 FMM: One or the Other

1. Shower or Bubble Bath?  Shower.  If I had a giant tub, I would indulge in a bubble bath more often.

2. Money or Power?  Money

3. Country Music or Rap?  I'd rather listen to rap.  I despise country music.  It makes me nauseous.

4. Sunshine or Thunderstorms?  Both have their ups and downs.  After all the rain going on up here, I could go for some sunshine right about now.

5. Uniform or Suit?  Suit, I suppose.  More opportunity to still make it my own.

6. Chocolate or Vanilla?  Chocolate.

7. Beauty or Brains?  Brains

8. Newspaper or Online News?  Online

9. Marinara or Alfredo?  Alfredo, specifically Mushroom Alfredo or Pesto Alfredo.

10. Lip Gloss or Lip Stick?  I'm a lip gloss junkie!

11. Beach or Mountains?  Beach

12. Talk or Text?  Depends on the person and my mood.  I do enjoy having the give and take of a face-to-face conversation with friends.

13. CNN or Fox News?  I don't watch the news really.  Sometimes I catch Rachel Maddow or I watch The Daily Show.  I can tell you that I would never watch Fox News and don't allow it in my house.

14. Cake or Potato Chips?  Again, it depends on my mood.  Right now, I could really go for some tater chips!

15. Movies at home or at the theater?   I enjoy watching them in my pajamas at home, but theater popcorn tastes better.  (And who can resist the GIANT screen?)

16. Bar or Bookstore? Bookstore is probably more my speed these days.

17. Rock or Pop?  Pop

18. Manicure or Facial?  Manicure.  I've never had a facial and would like to try it at least once though.

19. Book or e-reader?  I have Kindle on my PC, but have yet to really use it to read the free books I have downloaded.  I prefer an old-fashioned book in my hands.

20. Planes or Trains?  Neither.  I am terrified of planes and flying.  And I had to travel on a train for 3 days with nothing but a sandwich and a bottle of water.  It was horrid.

Now it’s your turn to answer this week’s questions.  Don’t forget to go to All The Weigh and link up in the comments!

  1. Stopping by from FMM... I'm also afraid of flying (as in I almost hyperventilate when the plan takes off). I prefer my car where I'm in total control.

    1. I'm that bad too. I cry, almost hyperventilate, and grip the armrests so hard my knuckles turn white. And that usually follows the panic attack I have already had in the terminal. It's nasty. Give me a good, old-fashioned road trip any day!

  2. Stopping by from FMM. I agree with you on country music. Not a fan.

    1. Thank you! I am glad there are more of us out there. People think that just because I am from the South, I HAVE to like country. No, thank you! :-)

  3. Hmmm, do "Patsy Cline" and "Johnny Cash" count as country? I consider them true country, and they have a spot in my heart, whereas the newer stuff is more ... pop country and not my thing. That's a tough one to answer!

    1. Hmmm, I would say that they do count as classic country. I can handle some Patsy and Johnny, and even some Dolly. I just hate the twangy, depression of it all.

  4. Visiting from FMM! Lip gloss! YAY! I have a huge jar in my bathroom that is overflowing with lip gloss. And lets not even look in my purse.
