Beauty Bargains: LORAC Cheek Stamps

Hello, everyone!

This is Part One in a short series on some Lorac makeup products I bought recently.  I want to do some reviews about the products and some swatches for those of you who want to know exactly what it looks like on skin before you buy.

The first product review is of Lorac Cheek Stamps.

These little suckers offer a new way of applying blush that I feel makes it quick and easy.   It is basically a stamp (as the name implies).  The blush is contained in the base, with a sponge applicator attached to the lid.  You need only twist the top off to reveal the spring-loaded sponge with product on it.  Literally stamp it on your cheek to apply the perfect amount.  You can use your fingers or a brush to blend and you're done!

I purchased the Cheek Stamp in Hibiscus  and Golden Glow  .
Both colors are vibrant and nicely pigmented.  They are really smooth and blend easily.  I haven't had any issues with fade at all, but I do use Smashbox Primer before applying my makeup.  Both colors look very natural on my skin.

Both colors side by side

Hibiscus is very close to my skin tone so the swatch I did of it did not show up well on camera, but here is Golden Glow.

I definitely recommend the Cheek Stamps!  I personally want to purchase at least two more colors for my collection.  They retail for $22, but are a part of LORAC's VIP Discount sale right now for $5.  They would make GREAT stocking stuffers for any makeup junkie, teenager, traveler, or mom-on-the-go!

In upcoming posts I will also be reviewing the following LORAC products: Oil-free Moisturizer, Sheer Lipstick, Croc Mocktail Collection, and Everyday Eye Collection.
