Comforting perhaps in the idea that there's "something" after what we know as life, but scary because there's so much of the unknown that comes with it.Aislynn Rasmussenhttp://www.facebook.com/aislynnsprofilesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034790958999231788.post-65514314158034191832012-10-17T23:46:32.844-07:002012-10-17T23:46:32.844-07:00Agreed. I haven't been able to sleep without a light on since then.Haileyhttp://www.divinemrsdiva.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034790958999231788.post-2126980320882095602012-10-17T12:25:17.392-07:002012-10-17T12:25:17.392-07:00I find the thought of ghosts creepy and strangely ...I find the thought of ghosts creepy and strangely comforting at the same time.Cookiehttp://www.fatcookieblogs.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034790958999231788.post-47962940071483584862012-10-16T17:04:06.287-07:002012-10-16T17:04:06.287-07:00Probably not. I have a craving!
Friendsgiving is SO much fun! If you can work it into your schedule, I highly recommend it! We usually have ours a week or two before Thanksgiving, but you could probably even push it out until January. There's never a bad time for a big, fun dinner with friends! We also have Feaster, our friendly Easter, gathering so everyone can meet up again in the spring. Any excuse to celebrate :-)
And Friendsgiving is definitely a great opportunity to try new recipes. I think for last year's dinner, we were all encouraged to do an international dish. It was fun for people to pull from their heritage or their favorite type of food. We had all kinds of yummy things to try.Haileyhttp://www.divinemrsdiva.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034790958999231788.post-81996116949617656372012-10-16T16:56:35.736-07:002012-10-16T16:56:35.736-07:00Thank you for coming by! ...Just stopping by for Friends makin' Monday...
Friendsgiving would be a great tradition! I may have to think about doing that myself. I really like pumpkin everything, too. Hmmm, I wonder if we would like it as much if we had special pumpkin treats all year?Healthy A-Znoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034790958999231788.post-14261844086957754782012-10-15T11:33:00.157-07:002012-10-15T11:33:00.157-07:00I've read a few of these on your blog over the...I've read a few of these on your blog over the weeks but never felt like responding myself until this one today! http://deliberatewhimsy.weebly.com/2/post/2012/10/friend-makin-mondays.html

I love your Friendsgiving idea. It's something we've considered but things get so hectic around the holidays that it's never come together. Everything is always so focused on family. Maybe this year - especially since we're moving out of state soon - we'll have to commit to hosting one. I think with Friendsgiving you have more leeway with recipes too. At family events, at least at ours, the dishes are pretty much set in stone. Friendsgiving could open the door to trying new holiday recipes!Liznoreply@blogger.com
